With order linking to Skicka Direkt Business, you can automatically order delivery of a customer's goods as soon as the customer completes their purchase in your checkout. The only thing you need to do then is to print the shipping labels and book a pick-up. You set which shipping options should be selectable, and how they should work.

In Portal Business, you can then manage everything related to your deliveries with PostNord. track, change, follow up and notify. Keep track of invoices and receive reports to optimize your delivery.

Before you get started

This guide shows how to set up a store connection between your store and Skicka Direkt Business. The connection itself is made to a plugin, and it is easiest to first make sure that the compatible plugin is set up and ready in your store or in a test environment before proceeding.

You need to be a company admin or have the e-commerce right turned on to see the tab, so ask your company admin for access if you don't see it.

If you have more than one e-store, you may need to create separate connections for each. Here you create a connection point for your store to integrate against.

This connection is made against the WooCommerce plugin Ship Connect. It's easiest to have that plugin installed before going through this process.

As long as you have access to the Klarna shipping assistant, your store is compatible with this connection.

If you have WooCommerce, you can implement Klarna Shipping Assistant with this plugin.

Name your store link so you can find it again later. Choose the sender profile from which the shipping should proceed.

Add sender information

Select the customer number and sender address that the connection should use. Use the search box to search among your senders.


Save the key and ID, and enter them into your e-commerce platform

Now you get a secret key and an ID that your e-commerce platform can use. These only appear once, so make sure you save them. Where you need to enter these depends on your platform. In Klarna, you do it in the Delivery Selector. Contact your platform's support for more information on those tools.

Create your delivery methods

Now you create the options that your customer should have access to. Delivery services are the PostNord services that can be ordered via the order link (e.g. MyPack Collect or PostNord Parcel). These are made visible as different delivery methods (To the door, To the mailbox, To the delivery point). You can also create a delivery method for pickup in your store, which of course does not lead to any fees or shipping orders with PostNord.

First, choose to create a delivery method and choose how the customer will be able to receive their package (e.g. to the mailbox). Now you can check the specific delivery services that can be ordered. Enter price and VAT, and you can save your delivery method. But there are many more customization options for shipping methods that we recommend exploring.


 

Customize your delivery methods

Delivery methods can be customized in many ways. You can e.g. add additional services.

You can set threshold values ​​for the customer to be offered free shipping based on the value of the entire order (e.g. free shipping over 500 SEK), via advanced price settings.

You can also control which delivery services are displayed by setting minimum or maximum values ​​for the shipment's weight and price. This can also be used to affect the visibility of the entire delivery method. For example. can you set it so that only customers who buy for more than SEK 500 should be able to choose home delivery, by making sure that the delivery service (or those) available under delivery to the door is set not to be displayed if the total value of the goods is less than 500 SEK.

If you check more than one delivery service per delivery method (e.g. if you tick both MyPack Home Small and Warubrev) both options will be visible to the customer, provided the shipment meets the basic requirements for the delivery service in question (e.g. current weight, recipient country, and the private person/company). You can see these basic requirements if you expand the delivery service box (icons indicate whether it is a private recipient service or a business recipient service). But you can further control this with the price and weight limits mentioned above, e.g. by exchanging one service for another if the value of the shopping cart is below a certain amount.


Print out Shipping Labels

When a customer buys and picks one of your shipping options, an order is placed with us, which you see in Send Direct Business. Here you can see the details, add the final weight to the package and print the shipping label. You can also delete orders you don't need.

Time to test drive!

Test so that the shipping choices enter your checkout. All purchases made in your checkout with your shipping choices created will receive a shipping order with the options you specified. Then you can print shipping notes with us.
