A shipping label, or transport label, is a note with an address that you stick in clear view on various packages. Some of these parcels stay in Sweden, other are sent abroad to other parts of the world. This is what makes our job so interesting, because we constantly need to strive for improvement and development.
A major part of this development is PostNord Portal Business – a portal where our business clients can find all the information they need to send, document, inform and print labels. This leads us to the question about how and why shipping labels are needed.
What are shipping labels used for?
If you often send parcels there are ready-made templates to access via the portal and our service Skicka Direkt Business. This is a tool which is both easy an efficient to use, and which will save time as the templates are ready-made. All you need to do is fill out the information required. When logged into the service Skicka Direkt you can also create different profiles with various levels of access to make it easier to delegate responsibilities and know exactly who does what.

If you need to export addresses you can also do so in the portal, quick and easy. You do it in three steps:
- Step 1: Log in to the portal.
- Step 2: Import your file (Excel).
- Step 3: Export to Skicka Direkt Business.
How are shipping labels used?
Most companies want simple and efficient solutions regarding shipping, transportations and mass send-outs of marketing material. Largely, it’s about maximum effect at minimal cost. That said, we want to talk about send-outs specifically, or rather the format of send-outs.
