Shipping Labels from File

Purchase shipping by uploading a file

You can order multiple shipments at once by uploading a CSV, Excel or XML file to Skicka Direkt Business. For example, you can export your orders from your e- commerce system and order all shipping at once. If you want a deeper integration with your e-commerce platform or ERP there are ready-made integrations to discover.

When you click on Shipping labels from file you’ll see this page. The first time you visit it there will be a step-by-step guide that you can use.

The first thing you need to do to get started is to create a template. This is done by clicking the menu button at the top called Templates. If you want to learn more about templates, click the button below.

You then need to upload a file or document (XML, XLSX or CSV) with the addresses you want to send to. You can download an example template directly from the site.

Guide on how to create templates

  • When the example template has been downloaded, available in XLSX format, all you need to do is add the details of your receivers. What’s important to know at this stage is that column A (Template) is where you name the template you’ve just created.
  • If you already know that you will send different services to different receivers you can create multiple templates and name them after the receiver, just like in the example image which shows “My Template A” and “My Template B”. Feel free to make use of the 4 examples in the template file, but remove them before you upload the file.

Once the document is ready, go back to Skicka Direkt Business and Shipping Labels from File..

Pick the sender you want to use and then upload the newly created file.

When you upload the file it will be validated. If green like in the image to the left, everything is OK and you can continue.

If anything is wrong or missing it will be red (image to the right) and the issue will be specified.
