What is the PostNord integration for WooCommerce?

PostNord order connection for e-commerce platform WooCommerce makes it easy for you to automate the scheduling of shipments and make your web store more efficient.

The solution means that we connect the customer’s choice of delivery at checkout to the shipping solutions in Skicka Direkt Business. This, in turn, means that each time a customer makes a purchase, enters their delivery details, and selects a delivery option, the information is sent straight to PostNord.

We then create a shipping note which you print and stick to the parcel. This way you don’t have to spend time and resources on manually feeding shipping details each time a purchase has been made.

When should I use the PostNord integration solution for WooCommerce?

As an e-commerce store you are aware of the fact that logistics related to sending products take time and money. If you use WooCommerce as your e-commerce platform and want to spend your time on something other than manually entering shipping details, then the PostNord integration solution for WooCommerce is for you.

How do I set up the integration between PostNord and WooCommerce?

At the moment you can connect your WooCommerce store to Skicka Direkt Business either by adding the direct plugin Ship Connect or by using Klarna Shipping Assistant In both cases you set up the shipment selector and plugin first, then you go to the e-commerce tab in Skicka Direkt Business where you complete the connection to the shipment selector of your choice.

When integrating WooCommerce with PostNord we, as well as our partner, will hold your hand throughout the entire process – and PostNord does not charge any fees per shipping note.

To get started you need an admin account in Skicka Direkt Business and access to ShipConnect or  Klarna Shipping Assistant

We are actively developing the connection and functionality is changing fast. At the moment we have all features set up for shipping inside the EU, but this will be expanded shortly. Regardless if we have the features you need right now, setting up the connection in advance is a good idea, to easily activate it when you are ready. PostNord does not charge anything for setting up or using the connection.

How does the integration work in practice?

PostNord does not charge any fees for the integration, and it’s set up in just a few simple steps:

1. Create a store connection in Skicka Direkt Business, to tie the tool to your shipment selector (either ShipConnect or Klarna Shipping Assistant)
2. ShipConnect or Klarna are the interfaces that showcase your delivery options at checkout.
3. The integration solution is ready for your first shipment, and the shipping note is printed as needed from Skicka Direkt Business.
